So I activated that Facebook Status updater today. And then I went to play 2010 a few hours later. And apparently, it updated my status a whole friggin bunch of times....all saying the same thing. Is it updating my status every time I start a new game???? And how do I disable it????

I'm pretty sure Kinz can verify - I think my status got updated like 10-20 times. And I'm pretty sure people don't need to be informed every time I start a new game.

Oh and...

The name of the location that you're playing at (along with city) and a cabinet id if you have one on you - which of course you do because you have it memorized... (sarcasm)

-if you happen to have it just pass it along. Thanks buddy. :P

You guys are funny LOL. Kinz yelled at me on Facebook :( Meanie....

And all the models that are hitting on me while I play GT love it when my Facebook status lets them know when I'm playing GT, cuz then they know that I'm not out doing their sister (who's wayyyyy hotter than they are). Silly chicks....

Yeah, if it is going to update my facebook status every game I start, I will never update it, if my wife actually knew how many games I play she would shoot my @$$

It should only update once every five hours at a given location. These few instances where it updates every time is what we're looking at to make sure that doesn't happen.

You can also disable at the beginning Nate when you decide to go incognito.

For anyone using the app - you can disable it by going to the Facebook application homepage and clicking on "Remove application."

I'll readd it when guys get that figured out.

The bug causing the multi-posts has been identified and will be fixed early on next week. If these posts are causing issues for your Facebook, simply hit the OPTIONS button and disable them until everything is patched up.

Thanks guys, and sorry for the inconvenience.

You guys should make it say where the person is playing tee. Just incorporate what it says on the gamefinder or something.

"Adam is playing GT, at Firkin n Bull in Wichita."

:P

I love this updater. The best thing about it? It updates your status no matter what version you play on! On my way back to school, me and my friends stopped at this restaurant/convient store/ gas station and they had a small ass game room but Golden Tee LIVE 2008 was there! And I shot one round on the Vegas course (my favorite 2008 course) and my buddy asked me if it would update my status and I said no, cuz its not 2010. But low and behold, he tells me when we get back to the dorm that it said i was playing Golden Tee LIVE 2008 at (whatever the place was called) nice job IT! :D
