Golden Tee Golf and 94.7 The ZONE, Chicago's new rock station, teamed up for the summer's hottest GT competition.  From April 15th – June 10th, Chicagoland players competed in an online, “Most League Points” contest.  The top Golden Tee players with the most GTGA League Points qualified to compete in a live, head-to-head Championship Final event at Shoeless Joe's Sports Bar in Rosemont, Illinois. 

Along with these huge prizes for the contest winners, 94.7 The ZONE GT Cup qualifiers received one ticket for every 10,000 League Points they accumulated in Part 1.  Each ticket resulted in a chance to win more fantastic prizes in special drawings held throughout the day at the Live Championship Final.  Prizes included VIP tickets to concerts and sporting events, as well as hotel and video rental packages.

77 of the Part 1 qualifiers made the trip to Shoeless Joe's for the Live Championship Final on Saturday, June 26th.  94.7 The ZONE broadcasted live from the event throughout the day as players competed on 14 brand-new Golden Tee Golf games.  A one round qualifier was held on Oak Hollow to seed the top 64 players for match play.

Up on the big screen in front of an excited Shoeless Joe's Sports Bar crowd, Ed Godfrey defeated Randy Kilian to win the Grand Prize 2004 Volkswagen Beetle Coupe!  In return for his impressive second place performance, Kilian took home a Golden Tee Fore! 2005 golf game approved for home use and Ron Nemetz was the 3rd place winner of the 2004 Yamaha Zuma Scooter.
