IN THE NTS LUCKY-7 GOLDEN TEE TOURNAMENT!

GT Players Competed for Cash & Prizes!
Omahas top Golden Tee golfers gathered at Biggs Tavern on
Saturday, March 19th, 2005 for a Closest-to-the-Pin Championship Tournament.
Players qualified for the event by participating a minimum of 7 League games
throughout a 2-month qualifying period.
The qualifiers were allowed 3 critical shots on a difficult par 3 hole. 1st
place went to Todd Moran after landing a nearly perfect shot 4.92
feet away from the hole on his third attempt. Monte Leu finished in a
close 2nd at 5.58 feet from the pin, while Aaron Schram finished 3rd
at 5.72 feet from the pin. Players split a $2,600 prize purse and everyone
received a free Golden Tee golf shirt or hat, as well as prizes from the
bonus drawing. Eric Loehr was the winner of a new mini motorcycle,
Jeffrey Ehlers received a Budweiser golf bag and Tracy Stone
took home a Sony DVD Player.
Congratulations Todd Moran and thank you to Biggs for being
gracious hosts and also to all the players from Omaha, Council Bluffs,
Fremont and Valley!
