   HOW TO QUALIFY

Online qualifying lasts 60 days in each region. To qualify for your LIVE Regional Final, simply play 50 18-hole games of Golden Tee LIVE "PRIZE" or “GLORY” play during your region’s qualification period. You must identify yourself with your real name during this period. Players must be 21. Games played on any other version of Golden Tee will not count. Once you complete 50 games - identifying yourself with your real name - you can then attend the LIVE Regional Final! Fun, Competition and Free Golden Tee - the ultimate video golf weekend! You may qualify in multiple regions but can only compete in 1 Live Regional Final.

With 800 total winners and over $100,000 in cash and prizes, the Golden Tee LIVE Regional Championships is the largest event in Golden Tee history!    LIVE REGIONAL FINALS FORMAT

The LIVE Regional Finals will be conducted over a Friday and Saturday at casino/resorts across the country. The festivities will kick-off Friday evening and it's expected that the event will end late on Saturday night. There will be no competition on Sunday, which is a designated travel day.

Starting on Saturday morning, it is anticipated that each player in the LIVE Regional Final will play 5 games (commonly referred to as "the cycle"), 1 on each on the 5 Golden Tee LIVE courses. Due to the the timing of the release of the 2007 course update the Midwest Open and Western Open will be conducted on the 2005 Golden Tee LIVE courses. All others finals will take place on the new 2007 courses.

This unique five-course qualifier is designed so that all of the competitors are guaranteed to play Golden Tee for 5 hours and to alleviate any fears of early elimination from the tournament. Bring your friends and family and make an entire weekend out of it! The public is invited to watch and cheer, and special room rates at host hotels ensure you’ll have a great and inexpensive time!

The games will be set to FREE PLAY throughout the tournament!

Total strokes will decide the order of finish with total Great Shot Points as the tie-breaker. The top 9 shooters will then make the cut and play off for the championship. The top shooter will wait to see which of the qualifiers 2 through 9 will challenge him for the title. In other words, the top shooter can finish no worse than second. Qualifiers 2 through 8 will compete in a single-elimination bracket seeded 2 vs. 9, 3 vs. 8, 4 vs. 7 and 5 vs. 6. The championship will also be decided in a single match. The tie-breaker for these head-to-head matches will be sudden death.
