TOP ONLINE QUALIFIERS COMPETE
FOR TEAM USA SPOT!

the U.S. in Golden Tees Most Prestigious Global Exhibition!
For the true die-hards of the game and those who take it very seriously, a
third competition has been added to the tournament. The "Team USA Shootout"
is a live single-elimination event for the top-16 online qualifiers in each
region. The winner of the "Team USA Shootout" in each region will earn a
coveted spot on Team USA for the prestigious 2007 Golden Tee World
Championship.
The Golden Tee World Championship is the longest-running competitive event
in video sports that every year features the best players in the world in a
Ryder-Cup like tournament. Being a member of the 16-man Team USA squad
ensures one of an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas. Besides the
opportunity to represent your country in the competition, players will earn
at least $1,000 and the chance to win the title of World Champion and the
$15,000 that goes with it.
To earn a spot in the "Team USA Shootout" you must finish in the top 16 in
scoring average in your region. In case of a tie, Greatest Shot points will
be used to determine the victor. Similarly to the "Pub Champ" competition,
the average of a player's 50 best scores - identified with the players real
name - will be used to determine the scoring average. The "Team USA
Shootout" will also be held Friday evening of the LIVE regional finals.
