David Cooper's name has been on the World Championship attendee list before but never as an official member of Team U.K. No longer
just the team's loving supporter and caddie, in 2007 the 37-year-old newlywed will compete on the big stage and it's an honor that he'll
remember for the rest of his life. "Getting to the World Champs as a player is absolutely fantastic," David said. "I cried for ages
after I won at the European playoffs. I never even got to see my winning putt!"
A web developer by trade, "Dav" began playing Golden Tee in 2002 with his buddies and has since gotten deeper into the competition and
the community surrounding the game. "I've met some of my best friends playing Golden Tee," he said. "I also met my wife, Nikki, whilst
playing Golden Tee with my then-future best man, Paul!"
David expects big things from the World Team this year and is certain that they can defeat Team USA for a second time. He added that
if he hits the winning putt at the Tilted Kilt that we'll need to keep some oxygen on hand to calm him down.

36-year-old insurance claims broker is the real deal. Phil is undeniably one of the UK's Golden Tee best players and his 3
trips to the World Championship ties teammate "Lord" Neil McGuinness as the most by any Brit.
While it's his third time joining the team, Fil.M says that the World Championship experience is as fresh and exciting as
ever. "The World Championship gives me a chance to have some fun with the guys and gives me a chance to throw my games against
the best players in the world...And Jeff Harlow," he joked.
Phil plans on giving it his all to beat the Yanks for the first time since 2004. "I think another upset is in the cards,"
he said. "After all, my buddy [Chris] Eversole is the USA captain again!"

He's back "The Lord" Neil McGuinness! A World Championship favorite of anyone who has ever met this lively Brit, Neil
returns to the global stage after missing the cut the last time around in 2005. "I missed out last time," Neil said, "so I
wanted to be sure I made it to Vegas. I was unsure if I played enough games to make the team this year but my match play
skills carried me through the European Championship tournament."
Not only did he just "get through" the tournament, Neil went on to defeat Europe's best to become the 2006 Champion and
solidify his spot on the 2007 World Team roster.
An avid Golden Tee player for nearly 10 years, the 31-year-old can usually be found sharpening his video golf skills with
a cold Magner's Cider in his hand at Grapes in Formby, Liverpool.
Neil feels that the Golden Tee World Championship is the pinnacle of the Golden Tee tournament calendar and he likes the
World Team's odds this year. "I see yet another defeat coming Team USA's Captain Eversole!" he joked.

A Golden Tee player since 2002, Andy Wallis quickly became competitive on the U.K. circuit and is making his long-overdue World
Championship debut this year in Las Vegas. "When I first saw the game, I simply thought Hey, there's something with some flashy
lights that I can smack without having to go to prison!'" Andy said. "Of course, bets went flying, the competitive streak came out
and the rest, as they say, is history!"
Andy works as an operations manager by trade in his hometown of Hemel, Hempstead, where he lives with his wife, Jill and daughters
Adrienne and Hannah. When he's not spending time with his family, "Dr. Wallis" can be found playing Golden Tee at his favorite hometown
pub, The Old Bell, enjoying the rivalry, the banter and the laughs that the game brings to his life.
When asked what his shot was to win at the Tilted Kilt, the humble 42-year-old responded, "I'm acutely aware that I'm not in the top
echelon of players. I just hope to make a good fist of things since I know there are many others who'd dearly like to be in my position."
Andy also added that he's hoping for a bit of luck to compliment his skill on Golden Tee's global stage.

2006 may mark the first year that Morne Goosen is representing South Africa in the World Championship, but it's not
the first time this 35-year-old family man has made a run at the big time. In a moment that lives in infamy among the
South African player community, Morne, had a shot to win the 2005 South African National Championship until a power outage
cut short his best qualifying round of the day. He didn't recover then but Morne went on to win the South African title in
2006, resulting in his first World Championship invitation.
FJ's Pub in Port Elizabeth is normally where you can find Morne playing Golden Tee with his buddies an estimated 12 hours
a week. When he's not spinning the trackball he can be found swinging clubs on one of South Africa's beautiful golf courses
or partaking in his other favorite hobby, quad biking.
To Morne, the World Championship means exposure to the best Golden Tee players on the planet, something he's wanted to
experience since he first played the game in 2005.

any South African player. John was bitten by the World Championship bug in 2004 when he contributed to the international squad's
shocking victory over Team USA and the 26-year-old has made certain he's been a part of the event ever since.
Owner of Arthur's at Camelot Bar and Restaurant in his hometown of Hillcrest, Jon got into Golden Tee when his local operator
organized a weekly league night at the bar. "He holds it on the same day as our weekly braai (barbeque)," he said. "We've been
doing it for three years and the camaraderie between all of the guys who participate is what Golden Tee's all about."
When he's not working or playing Golden Tee, the 2004 South African National Champion can be found fishing or playing real golf
where he's a 3-handicapper.
John is looking forward to another chance to compete with the best in the world this March. When asked his expectations for this
year's event John said, "I'm confident South Africa's contribution will be greater than ever. Our scores are not too far off from the
rest of the world any more."

hard at my game since the last Worlds 16 months ago," he said. "This tournament means a great deal to me so I was determined to
return."
During his World Championship debut in 2005, Adam defeated World Championship veteran, Mike Norman, from Team New Zealand in
the first round, only to lose in the second to the soon-to-be World Champion runner-up, Enzo Polidori from Canada. His game has
matured much since then and the back-to-back Australian National Champion is eager to size himself up against the world's best
once again.

The Toronto area has been a hotbed of Golden Tee talent for nearly a decade and World Championship newbie Andrew Cosgrove is yet
another success story. He first played the game in 2003 because he liked the competition and has since become one of the strongest
competitors in the area.
A 31-year-old planning coordinator, "Coz" considered himself a long shot to make the team this year and was pleasantly surprised
when he did. "My main goal was to try and stay calm during the qualifier," he said. "Making the team was not something I expected
to happen so naturally it was a rush when I did!"
When he's not playing Golden Tee at Jack's Backyard in Toronto, Andrew likes to keep active by playing volleyball and running.
He made a strong ninth place showing last time he competed in Vegas at the Western Regional Championship and he's hoping that he
can pull off something spectacular this time around.

third World Championship with a better shot than ever at the title. He has the talent and knowledge that it takes but this humble
36-year-old would never call himself a favorite. "I was considered a favorite at the Canadian qualifier," Nick explained, "but I
needed a little bit of help from my opponents to make it."
At this stage in his life, Nick thrives for competition and he's not afraid to dedicate himself to earn a living doing what he
loves playing poker and playing Golden Tee. "I earn a paycheck thanks to a videogame!' he exclaimed.

This year the 27-year-old has high hopes for the title and intends to not let anyone including his countrymen stand
in his way.
A student by day and an avid poker player by night, Derek is never afraid of a solid bet and he loves the World Team's
odds in 2007. "I would not bet against us this year," he said. Like many others in the event, Derek thinks it might be
Andy Haas' time to shine. "I'm like 0 for 50 against him but I may actually have a shot to beat him at least once this
year," he joked.
Derek calls Toronto home and has been playing Golden Tee since 2002.

weaker than usual due to their draft structure."
Never one to shy away from a challenge, when this competitive operations analyst isn't playing Golden Tee he can be found
participating in his other passions, squash, basketball and hockey. "I just love competition and a good challenge," JD said -

"NEZ!" is back! After his World Championship debut in 2005, Eddy Nesdoly went from a no-name GT rookie to another undisputed
"northern star". Last time on the global stage in Orlando, Eddy qualified fourth and defeated New Zealand's Team Captain,
Martin Awatere in individual bracket play. Since then the 27-year-old family man hasn't come down from the top of Canada's
leaderboards.
Eddy hails from a small town just north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he works as an account officer and lives with his
wife, Mellisa and 10-month year-old son, Drew. When he's not playing Golden Tee at the Ramada Hotel in Saskatoon, Eddy enjoys
playing guitar, hockey, volleyball and real golf as a 13-handicapper.
When asked what the World Championship means to Canada, Eddy explains how fiercely competitive they are. "With the amount of
time and energy we put into the game, we take competition very seriously. It's like a sport to us and we want to prove that
we're the best!" For himself, Eddy wants the world to know that he is here to stay. "It wasn't a fluke that I made the team

Where there have been high stakes matches this past year, Enzo Polidori can usually be found. This highly skilled Canadian made
a name for himself at the 2005 World Championship where he was one game away from winning the title and the $15,000 payday. In a
crucial strategic moment, Enzo opted to lay-up on Heather Pointe #15 while his opponent, Chris Eversole went for the risky green
and ultimately won the championship.
This 39-year-old family man holds no grudges and is looking forward to another shot at the title in Las Vegas this year. Enzo
returns to his fourth World Championship as a seasoned veteran and is now accustomed to being in the spotlight. And while he
can't wait for the competition, he's more excited to get together with the friends that he's made because of it.
Enzo likes the World Team's odds for the cup and has pegged Andy Haas as the favorite for the title in 2007.
